COME AND STAY FOR THE KIDSPLAY DIFFERENCE
At KidsPlay Early Learning Centre, excursions are an important part of early childhood education within our early learning centre programs. Unlike primary or secondary school excursions, our outings are closer to home, shorter in duration, and carefully designed to support children’s learning and development in a way families expect from a high-quality childcare centre.
Guided by the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), excursions for children aged 1–4 years help achieve key learning outcomes, including:
Through excursions, children experience new environments, meet new people, and engage in hands-on learning that extends their curiosity beyond the classroom.
Through excursions, children experience new environments, practice independence, and engage in real-world learning. At KidsPlay ELC, we provide a variety of outings throughout the year to help children explore and make sense of the world around them.
As part of our childcare Melbourne community, we warmly encourage parents to join our excursions whenever possible, allowing families to share in the learning experience and support their child’s growth.
These shared experiences help children feel supported, confident, and proud as they explore their community.
